Madhuri Dixit
Madhuri dixit is an acclaimed Indian actress, known for roles in Hum Aapke Hain Koun. The actress began her career in the 1980s and came into prominence thanks to her character in Tezaab, a film in which she was a part of the cast alongside the veteran actor Anil Kapoor. In the next film, Dil, Aamir Khan appeared with her. In Mumbai her home, she grew up in a family of middle-class parents. At a very young age, she started to study dance. As a teen, she attempted acting, however most films she attempted to make failed. Then, she discovered success with Indian filmmaking and rose to the top. After marriage, she experienced a career break before reentering the business. In recent years, Dixit had a major role to play as a character in Gulaab Gang a movie about the struggle of Indian women. Dixit has received 15 Filmfare Awards nominations, of which, eight were awarded. Padma Shri was awarded to Dixit. It is the fourth-highest civil honour in India. She also has a reputation for social activism.
