Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The singer has made significant inroads towards Latin pop. Una Lady Como Tu (his popular hit song from 2016) was awarded an Colombian Kids Choice Award, 2017 Favorite Song. in Medellin, Sony distributed La Industria Inc. and then released ADN as his first full-length album. The Top Latin Albums chart ranked the album at 8. He then joined Ozuna to record their Top Five smash Vaina Loca. In 2020, he collaborated with Noriel for Mala Influencia and released the album Dopamina the next year. He also performed in a duet with TINI for her hit streaming single Maldita Foto. In 2023, 2000 with the smash hit La Bachata was released. Turizo is a musician born into a musical family. Both his parents also played the guitar. In interviews, he has stated that music was a necessity. As a child, he studied the guitar as well as the saxophone. Although his first career choice was to be a veterinarian for animals, his brother Julian convinced him to try studying singing with the Cuban. This transformed his life forever.
